Pointless Can be Pointless

When in Rome is a stupidly charming little comedy about a woman who does not do well with men. Surprise I don't either. So she flies to Rome to be in her sister's wedding and makes a wish in a famous fountain...she meets a guy! And not just ANY guy...Josh Duhamel...he's amazingly handsome and kinda dorky and funny and awkward and they get along great. But she is unsure if the romance is real or part of some magic...

It was a cute little movie that had a few funny parts. Kristen Bell is petite and controlling and adorable but the real draw for me was Josh. VAVAVOOOOOM. Fergie is lucky to have such a gorgeous husband.

If you are looking for a mindless enjoyable movie to go and have a lighthearted evening I can honestly say this was enjoyable. It's not a "thinker" by any means and it might not be worth $10 to go and see it.

Recommendation: It was ok. Definitely a first date kind of movie because it was a romantic comedy...not one that had a lot of sex scenes or nudity so it would be comfortable to bring a date. I would rent it or see it again on tv or something but would not go to the theater again or own the film.
